Living in the Mirror

Of the Big City

Theres a Black Earth Sky

Speckled with Star-Light

Shimmering

Reminding

And Remembering

Everything

I dont know

How the grass grows

So green

Or what makes a heart beat

Younger than before

All i know

Is that im not the same man i was before

I lived in the mirror

Of the big city

Thats why i moved out

To the country

To back to Earth

From Outer Space

Ive been to the perimeter rim

And the galactic core

Ive opened

Many

Hailing channel frequencies

And sung a few of my songs

But nothing compares

To the sunshines i feel when i think of all you

My many friends

My candles unlock

And i catch my breath

Like a shakespearean sonnet

About dreams within.
