Ode to A Tuning Fork

You know the world has a dystopian tilt

When something as spiritual as sex is Sin

And war rages under the guise of God

Why can’t we just get along

And sing Gaia’s song?
Sometimes I wonder

If I’m to blame for all of societies blunders

It’s like the sun has gone asunder

Replaced with the crippling fear of shaded skies

But still I believe that humanity can rise
Religion used to be an opiate

Bringing serene sayings

But now people are overdosing

And doing anything to be higher than those that don’t use their brand

I’m on my knees is there anyone who can see that the rainbow is coming?
Open to interpretation

Like a Wonderlic Test

But don’t you know doors work best when you can walk through them both ways?

The tree inhales our exhale

Don’t ask who is breathing right

Just acknowledge that breathing is nice

And try not to choke on spiritual smoke

Because mirrors might be in reverse but they still show you yourself

Open your mind to the fact that all is possible

In the age of aircraft no mountain is impassible

You just have to have the passion to fly

If you want to rise

Otherwise you’re just digging a deeper hole

There are many words across the world for truth

But they all bear the same face

Love one another

After all

We were all raised on the milk of our planetary mother

And while we might call our Father; Papa, Dad or Old Man

It doesn’t change who He is
