Butterscotch Honey Rain

I know a little bit about pain

And I know it pairs well with rain

Life is strange

 It’s part of change

I just am glad I woke up today
She has the moon in her eyes

While I wish she was mine

Sunshine hair and a tornado in her stare

It’s like staring into the sun

When I think of her
Painting strawberry clouds

On a sandy beach

There’s guitar in the distance

And a Corona fuzz sun

Just add her and stir
Like a lioness I know I can count on her to lick my wounds

If she could she’d probably give me all the stars in the sky

I ask her why and she smiles wide

Some people just play your groove

The lesson is here

So have no fear

The sun will shine around the bend
