I see evil
Everyday
Tempting me
Trying to lead me astray
Casting curses upon me
That bounce away
Many are seeking to do me harm
But what they don’t know
Is it’s themselves they harm
Black magic and candles
Flickering thin
I’ve opened my heart
And let love in
I shine so bright
You must hate the sight
Of a man who walks
Under angel wings
My strength is my forgiveness
My weakness is forgivable
So cast your curse
It’s not unremittable
I have given myself
To the light of heaven
And with his grace
I will leaven
Despite all your darkness
