April’s Fool

I am April’s fool
For you
I am seeing twilight as dusk
And praying that will be enough
Hoping that I will be man enough
To admit my defeats
And rise back up
Above you in between the sheets
It’s practically impossible to live without the thought of you
It’s practically implausible to live without you
You are the other half of my soul
The other half of the story I don’t know
But I do know
I’m a fool of the cruelest type
I’m like a spitball in the night
Taking aim at you
Placing undue blame on you
Because there’s always two side to a coin
Two orgasms when lovers join
Grinding groins
Fire in our loins
And dissent in our hearts
Our rebel hearts
Our mischievous minds
Were like the grapes on wrath’s vine
I just know that the last laugh
Will be mine
