In the water

The sweet smooth water

We ride the tide

Like lovers aligned

In it’s depths

Hollow depths

We coincide

Feeling alive

Diving down

Trust is found

Like treasure there

We retreat for air

Horizon found

We hear the sounds

Sloshing around

Above the ground

Swimming still

Getting chilled

We pass a fish

And blow him a kiss

Holding hands

We wade ashore

Fearing not

The water is forever more
