Curves

The waters of life splash at my feet

The airs of the living tickle my lungs

The smoke of ages

Acidic in my eye

Tears fall until they dry

How do I want to caress your curves?

With stones hot from the soul

With ice fresh from the south pole

With hands sure to know which way to go

Exploring you is like exploring a savannah

Wild as the sun

Grasslands reach up and out

You make me scream

Like a tree caught in a timeless drought

I want to bring out your heart

Bring out your dreams

I just need you to believe

That our time is now

This photograph from my soul

is just a part trying to become whole

Freedom is shedding your clothes

A marrying of the minds

While bodies grind

Time seems to move like a river

As opposed to an arrow just delivered from Cupid’s quiver

So lets row our boat gently down that stream

And make life feel like a dream
